The Real World-Seattle

After years of not updating on anything in life, I am going to try to have another go at this.

Times are a lot different than 2 years ago. I am now in Seattle and learning a great deal in myself, my relationship with Christ, and the one constant I had...my job. About 4 months ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to move to Seattle with Marriott. Some days I struggle to call it a blessing. As I learn new things in my new adjusting life, I am constantly having to watch my words, actions, and attitude as I try and represent our Lord the way He deserves to be represented. Work is a challenge, to say the least. I claim it to the fact Christ is teaching me how to be a leader in a secular world.

Not all is horrible. I am quickly falling in love with this city. The weather, people, culture...I don't see myself leaving anytime soon.

I do find myself clinging onto the relationships I may have taken for granted. It's strange being older and making new friends. These relationships, I value and appreciate more than I think I could even just a few years ago. I have been blessed with so many great people in my life.

That is my quick update for now. More to come...

Psalm 143: 8
"Each morning let me learn
more about your love
    because I trust you.
I come to you in prayer,
    asking for your guidance."
